Stephene Shadrack Meena is a Clinical Oncologist at Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI), Tanzania, which is a government facility and a center of excellency for cancer treatment in East Africa. He graduated both of his Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) and Masters of Medicine Degree (MMed) at Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences (MUHAS) in 2008 and 2015 respectively. Currently he is a PhD student enrolled in Cancer Research Program at Jiangzhong Cancer Research Center, Jiangxi University of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine.

His previous work experience includes one-year internship program at Amana regional hospital, a study physician at MUHAS/Harvard research project for one 1 year and general practitioner (GP) for 3 years at ORCI. He is an African-Cancer fellow awarded by Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), which was supported by American Cancer Society (ACS) in 2018. He is also a Champion in Global Cancer Program, supported by University of California – San Francisco (UCSF).
